Yuga Sports and Entertainment and Asian Roll Ball Federation have joined hands to launch the Pro Roll Ball League with the signing of an agreement in this regard. The 5-year partnership between them further demonstrates their commitment to the growth and development of this exhilarating sport in India.
What is Roll Ball !
Roll Ball, an indigenous sport invented by Raju Dabhade in Pune, combines roller skating and handball skills to create a dynamic and exhilarating game. With teams dribbling, passing, and shooting the ball into the opponent’s goal post while on roller skates. Roll Ball is a fast-paced and action-packed sport that tests athleticism and strategy. The Roll Ball has captured the hearts of millions with its high-speed action, skillful play and unique roller- skating component.
What is Pro Roll Ball League
With the launch of the Pro Roll Ball League, the game is poised to unlock the immense potential of this dynamic sport and showcase it on a grand scale. The Pro Roll Ball League will provide a global platform for talented Roll Ball players to display their skills and compete at the highest level. Through this league, Federation aim to promote the sport, encourage grassroots participation, and nurture future stars.
The logos and jerseys of the Pro Roll Ball league’s eight franchise owners were unveiled at a lively ceremony at ITC Grand Central, Parel, Mumbai.
It is important to note that foreign players from 17 nations will take part in the adrenaline-fueled 15-day action, which will take place from November 20 to December 3, 2023. During the occasion, eight franchise owners stepped up on a stage wearing t-shirts with their individual teams’ emblems.
Later in the day, an auction procedure was held in which teams bid for their favorite athletes.
All state-level, national, and international players who qualified for the Pro Roll Ball auctions, as well as coaches, mentors, and managers who qualified for the League, were present at the event. The Pro League will consist of eight teams with each team include Ten players, Mentor, Coach and Manager. Out of Ten players, three will be International players, as many Indian National and three foreign players.
